Mullet Over With Us
The Mullet is back and it’s fiercer than ever. As more and more men request the iconic short front and sides from their barber, we’re inviting them to take another brave step: to ask for help with their mental health. If you can pull off a Mullet, you can do anything!
Right now, millions of men all over the world are dying young because they’re losing a battle with their mental health. Suicide is the biggest killer in under 45’s the UK with someone dying every 120 mins. That number is closer to every 12 mins in the USA and every 40 seconds globally. Tragically, a lot of these deaths could be prevented by just talking things through. So, starting today we’re using the power of the Mullet to encourage men not to suffer alone, but to Mullet Over Together with their barber, friends, family or support services. Don’t mull it over alone, #MulletOverTogether.

The 3 Ways to #mulletovertogether With Us
1.
Go Full Mullet!
In the 1980s, the unapologetic Mullet was the calling card of bikers, rockers and Ziggy Stardust wannabees. For 2021, it’s been given a cool, modern makeover: an anti-fashion cut with serious post-lockdown rebellious vibes. Go on, give it a go!
Feeling nervous? Ask your barber for a softer, shaggier fringe and sides for a less severe look. Or, try a cheeky Mullet out mid-hair cut: ask your barber to trim the front and the sides of your hair first, capture the moment, then carry on with your regular haircut.
Don’t forget to… snap a selfie of your Mullet. Share your new do with the text to donate details below, and a message of support for men struggling with their mental health. Better still, why not fundraise for us! Grab a JustGiving page and commit to keeping your mullet for a week, a month, even a year!
2.
Fake it ‘til you make it!
Not ready for a Mullet? We get it, it’s quite a step but why not fashion your existing barnet into the perfect short front and sides?
Or fashion your existing barnet into the perfect short front and sides.
3 easy steps to creating a mullet from your existing hair style.
- Get a tonne of cheap gel and a comb
- Apply the gel to the sides of your head until you reach the ear on both sides
- Comb the hair back on both sides to the back of the ear and let it dry.
This will give the illusion that the sides of your hair are much shorter and you can even accent the length on the back by creating more volume with product, pulling it out from your head.
